League of Woman Voters Host Ward 4 Candidate Forum Monday Night

What do Northfield residents need to know this week? Find out below.

The three candidates vying for the Ward 4 seat on the Northfield City Council will meet at a candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters the evening of Monday, Oct. 28.

There are three candidates in the running for the seat. Click on the name of the candidate to learn more about them:

Peterson White, who currently holds the seat, was appointed by the council last fall following the resignation of Patrick Ganey. Ganey's term ends at the end of 2014, and a special election is required this year so that a voter-elected person may finish the rest of his term.

Candidates will respond to questions submitted by members of the audience. The forum begins at 7 p.m. Monday in Room 103 of the Northfield Senior Center, 1651 Jefferson Pkwy.

Northfield Arts Guild is holding its Writer's Night at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Northfield Senior Center. The sessions will feature prominent writing instructors with classes for all levels and styles of writing.
