Polka for Lunch at the Vintage Band Festival

The Original Drachenfelser Musikanten of Germany helped open the first day of the Vintage Band Festival with a noon concert at the Northfield Public Library.

Scores of folks spent their lunch time listening to German music at the Northfield Public Library on Thursday.

The Original Drachenfelser Musikanten, a quartet that is called “masters of the polka” on the Vintage Band Festival website, performed on the Washington Street side of the library.

The noon concert was one of the first performances on the official first day of the four-day Vintage Band Festival.
