It’s Finally Here: Vintage Band Festival Day 1

Thursday marks the start of the third Vintage Band Festival. The Northfield-based event runs through Sunday.

It’s finally here.

The much-anticipated third Vintage Band Festival officially begins on Thursday, even though a few concerts took place on Wednesday.

On what could be described as a spectacular weather afternoon on Wednesday, the Swedish band Medevi Brunnsorkester performed one of those pre-festival shows in the Archer House gazebo on the east bank of the Cannon River. Spectaculars sat in lawn chairs and on the stone walls lining the river as they listened to the group.
