The Rice County DFL at the Rice County Fair

The Rice County Fair gives us all a great opportunity to do numerous things from seeing the hard work of the 4H participants to eating cheese curds. There is something for everyone. An important opportunity the fair brings is the chance to meet the folks, from our community, who have stepped forward to run for office.

We're excited to announce the days and times when the Democratic Farmer Labor Party's endorsed candidates will be at the fair.

Schedule of candidate appearances at the Rice County DFL booth during the fair:

State Representative Patti Fritz (House District 24B)
Friday, July 20th           6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

State Senate Candidate Vicki Jensen (Senate District 24)
Thursday, July 19th      Noon to 3:00 p.m.
Friday, July 20th          Noon to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 21st      7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 22nd       1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

State Senate Candidate Kevin Dahle (Senate District 20)
Saturday, July 21st       5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

State Rep. Candidate David Bly (House District 20B)
Saturday, July 21st       7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  

Candidates also invited to the Fair include:  Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Tim Walz, and Congressional Candidate Mike Obermueller (CD2).

 The Rice County DFL's booth is located in the commercial exhibit building on the Southside of the fair, next to the Sellner Memorial Stage and across from the 4H building.
