At First Forum, Republicans Running for MN Governor Agree to Agree
Scott Honour, Jeff Johnson, Dave Thompson and Kurt Zellers are vying for party endorsement—but only two promised to abide by it, according to media reports.
Four men seeking the Republican Party endorsement for Minnesota governor met in Mounds View Thursday at the race's first forum.
The candidates are:
- Scott Honour, businessman from Lake Minnetonka area
- Jeff Johnson, Hennepin County commissioner representing a district from Mound to Maple Grove and Rogers
- Dave Thompson, state senator from Lakeville and Northfield
- Kurt Zellers, state representative from Maple Grove
