DEATH NOTICE: William Roy Markley Jr., 51

William (Bill, Billy) Roy Markley Jr.

Born in Minneapolis, MN on January 11, 1962 and left us too soon on July 26, 2013. Bill was a man who loved his family, music and finding the nearest fishing hole. A heart of a child who loved to make everyone smile and laugh around him. From his early wild days with The Sampson Band to his more mellow times fishing on the Root River or any lake with those he loved. He carried his mischevious spirit and joy with him wherever he went.

Survived by the wife of his heart Aleasha Markley and his children Patrick (girlfriend Danielle) Paur, Josh (wife Lindsay) Solie, Sheree (fiancé Zach) Markley, Shawn Markley, Stepson Noah Junio, Madison Markley & Kayley Markley. His grandchildren Riley & Skylar Solie and Aubree Brown. Patrick’s mother Julie Paur, Josh’s mother Renee Solie and Sheree and Shawn’s mother Kathy Zahler who all held a special place in Bill’s life at one time or another.

His loving and caring sister Celeste (special friend Scott) Cannata. His niece Shawna Markley and Nephew’s Justin (wife Sarah) Blair & Michael Cannata. His great niece Willow Blair and great nephew Devin Blair. Family friend Wendy, Michelle, Nancy and many others too numerous to list.

Preceded in death by his loving mother and father William Roy Markley Sr. and Bernice Markley.

A service of Thanksgiving of Bill’s Life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Bierman Funeral Home.
