Fans Line Up to Meet Members of the Minnesota Wild

Defenseman Clayton Stoner, goalie Darcy Kuemper and announcer Tom Reid visited Northfield on Wednesday afternoon as part of the team's off-season caravan.

Minnesota Wild fans young and not-so-young turned out at the Northfield Ice Arena on Wednesday afternoon to collect autographs from three members of their favorite National Hockey League team.

Defenseman Clayton Stoner, goalie Darcy Kuemper and team radio analyst Tom Reid signed team cards, hockey sticks, jerseys and a variety of other memorabilia under a canopy outside the arena’s entrance.

At times during the one-hour autograph session, fans were lined up the length of the arena as they waited for their collectibles to be signed.

A local sponsor of the event was the Northfield Hockey Association, which teamed with local businesses to provide food and to conduct a free open skate in the ice arena Wednesday afternoon.
