Northfield Chamber Hires Marketing/Tourism Coordinator

Editor's Note: This is a press release from the Northfield Chamber of Commerce.

The Northfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, a division of the Northfield Chamber of Commerce, announced today that Tami Ford has joined the Chamber as Marketing/Tourism Coordinator.  Tami has eight years of diverse experience with associations and nonprofits, including marketing, development and fundraising, grant writing, member services, and event planning.

Her past positions have prepared her to work on a variety of tasks for the Northfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), including the launch of a new marketing campaign and efforts to grow tourism in Northfield.

Mary Schmelzer, Chamber Executive Director, worked with the CVB board of directors to develop the new position and states, “We are very excited to have tourism staff who can help us implement our strategic plan, work closely with our partners and encourage people to visit our community.”
