Even though Northfield Patch writer Myrna CG Mibus lives at SkyHarbor Airpark in Webster, she considers Northfield her hometown. A private pilot, quilter, gardener, fledgling bicyclist, freelance writer and mom of two, Myrna specializes in writing about the arts, aviation, interesting people and her family's flying and bicycling adventures.

Myrna's articles and essays have been published in several regional and national magazines including Minnesota Parent, Minnesota Monthly, Womeninc., General Aviation News, Minnesota Flyer and Sport Aerobatics. She's had essays published in two books, Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul and Minnesota Memories 6. Myrna also wrote and edited The Christiania Story, a book about the history of a country church.
