Mary Jo Scanlan, Neighbor

My name is Mary Jo Scanlan. I sometimes think of myself as a ‘City girl with a Country Heart”.

I grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota and lived in Eagan, Minnesota for over 20 years before moving to the great open space of Dennison, Minnesota about 7 years ago.

Having been  in the sales and marketing venue of new construction for two custom builders and now working in the sales of existing homes, I realize how much I enjoy helping people find the home that makes their heart sing.  After all, it is the place and space that will be your safe haven, a place to truly relax, enjoy family time, and experience wonderful celebrations of life and living.

I just told a friend of mine the other day, “My job is actually helping people and I couldn’t ask for a better profession to do it in”.

Of course, I love anything with the outdoors; vegetable gardening, growing garlic, fishing, hunting and just hanging out on the porch and watching the birds.
