It's been said that the universe is made up, not of atoms, but of stories. That is certainly true of the dynamic and diverse town of Northfield.

As a Carleton alum, I left a sleepy little cow town, but returned to a caring, committed and connected community. There are thousands of stories here: Some are inspiring, others more like cautionary tales.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to share some of these with readers of Northfield Patch.
