The City of Northfield has declared a snow emergency. Here are the details from the public works department: The Public Works Department has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY for the City of Northfield. The snow emergency will start on the date above and will continue until the streets are plowed curb-to-curb after the weather system has passed. During the emergency there is NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED ON CITY STREETS. TRASH/RECYCLING CANS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON CITY STREETS. Trash/recycling cans should be placed in the driveway behind the curb line. All downtown parking lots will be open unless signed accordingly.
