PHOTOS: Northfield Football Loses Section Game at Chaska; Season Over

The Raiders, seeded fifth in the 2AAAA tournament, lost 34-27 to No. 4-seeded Chaska, who they lost to in overtime last week.

As it did many times this year, the Northfield football team kept its first-round section game on Tuesday close but came up just a bit short when time expired. The Raiders, seeded fifth in the 2AAAA tournament, lost 34-27 to No. 4-seeded Chaska, who they lost to in overtime last week. Touchdowns came on throws from quarterback Jake Mathison to Thomas Streitz and Eric Shepley, a run from Mathison and a run from Walker.
