Bridge Chamber Music Festival Starts Thursday

The festival, which draws world-renowned musicians to Northfield, is best described by Cellist and Artistic Director David Carter of the Bridge Chamber Music Festival as, “all the drama and passion of the symphony, but much more intimate."

The Bridge Chamber Music Festival is proud to announce its 14th season with four scheduled performances August 16, 19, 21 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Northfield. The festival, which draws world-renowned musicians to the quaint town of Northfield, is best described by Cellist and Artistic Director David Carter of the Bridge Chamber Music Festival as, “all the drama and passion of the symphony, but much more intimate.” The festival begins on August 16th with a Young Artists’ Recital. This concert showcases a variety of chamber and solo works performed by talented young musicians from the Northfield area. Studio A, St. Olaf College, 7:30 p.m. This concert is free. Festival Concert I – August 19th features the Artaria String Quartet and WindWorks. …
