I have been to Carbone's many times and have never been dissapointed. Their pizza is great as well as their hoagies and burgers. They have great specials and you can't beat their omelets with a beverage for $5.00 served Sunday mornings. What is there not to like????

Carbone's Pizza & Sports Bar opened at 620 Water St. S. on Aug. 16, 2012.

Carbone's has daily specials, which includes two-for-one on drinks from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and half-price appetizers from 3-7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday. There's also Taco Tuesday, where you can get tacos for 50 cents, and Wing Wednesday, where you can get wings for 50 cents from 3 p.m. to close.
The establishment, which is equipped with more than a dozen HD TVs, has the NFL package, NHL package and plays all the major sports games.
“We’re going to be more than a place for pizza,” said co-owner Scott LaMotte said. “We have lots of great food, and we’re bringing something Northfield really doesn’t have right now—a sports bar.”

My wife and I had a pizza there during the first week they were open. The steaming hot pizza was placed on a paper and then on a room temperature metal serving tray - the steam from the pizza effectively glued the paper to the bottom of it! We ended up not eating parts of it because we couldn't get the stupid paper off of the pizza! I pointed this out to the bartender - the waitress was off somewhere - and all she could do was shrug her shoulders and smile. Hopefully by now that engineering problems has been fixed ;-)
Great staff, specials, atmosphere, and quality food. We enjoy going there for Vikings games. On Sunday from 10 to noon, the $5 all you can eat custom made omelets, french toast, hash brown, biscuits and gravy and COMPLIMENTARY DRINK OF CHOICE.....is "BLOODY MARY" AMAZING!!! Great addition to the Northfield 'fun' scene.
