Applications are being accepted for up to 9 full-time AmeriCorps Promise Fellow positions for the 2011-12 school year working with Northfield youth.
Applications are being accepted for up to 9 full-time AmeriCorps Promise Fellow positions in Northfield for the 2011-12 school year. The Promise Fellows each work with individual cohorts of 30 students to help close the academic achievement gap for these young people. The Promise Fellow program is sponsored by the Minnesota Alliance With Youth.
Promise Fellows will potentially be placed in each of the following Northfield locations:
- Northfield High School
- Northfield Middle School
- Northfield Area Learning Center
- ARTech School
- Northfield Union of Youth/The Key
- Bridgewater Elementary School
- Greenvale Park Elementary School
- Sibley Elementary School
- Northfield Healthy Community Initiative

Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and the contact information for three references (non-family members) to: Northfield Healthy Community Initiative, 1651 Jefferson Pkwy – Suite HS 130, Northfield, MN 55057.
Applicants need only submit one resume/cover letter/references to be considered for any of the positions. However, applicants are encouraged to include in their cover letter which of the sites they would be interested in serving at.
