When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23; 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24.
Where: Kelsey Theater at St. Olaf College, 1500 St. Olaf Ave.
Details: "In the Heights" is an award-winning musical about life in Washington Heights, New York, a tight-knit community where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. Students receive one free ticket with their student ID. Tickets available online at fusion.stolaf.edu/tickets or by calling the box office at 507-786-8987 during office hours, Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For special needs please call the main theater office at 507-786-3240.
Shopping
If you're looking to do start some holiday shopping stop by this year's Fine Craft Collective at the former Hoffman's at 506 Division St. in Northfield. The seasonal craft fair in Northfield, and has grown into an alternative co-operative business model for regional artisans.
The collective just opened Nov. 14, and will close on Christmas Eve. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
