St. Olaf's 'In The Heights' Musical Opens Friday

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.

Kelsey Theater at St. Olaf College, 1500 St. Olaf Ave. 

Details:
"In the Heights" is an award-winning musical about life in Washington Heights, New York, a tight-knit community where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. Students receive one free ticket with their student ID. Tickets will be available Oct. 28th online at fusion.stolaf.edu/tickets or by calling the box office at 507-786-8987 during office hours, Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For special needs please call the main theater office at 507-786-3240. More showtimes are scheduled from Nov. 21-24.

Northfield Arts Guild Presents Theater 411 Concert Series


When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

Where: Northfield Arts Guild Theater, 411 3rd St. in Northfield.

Details: Martha Scanlan with Helen Forsythe will perform together Saturday Night. According to the Northfield News, Scanlan said the gift of a great storyteller is the bringing of the listener into the story and the story into the listener. Tickets are $20 and can be obtained at the Northfield Arts Guild office, 411 W. Third St, Northfield, online at northfieldartsguild.org, or by calling (507) 645-8877.

Northfield MOPS Meeting


When:
 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15.

Where:
 Northfield Evangelical Free Church, 5600 110th St. E.

Details: MOPs stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers." MOPS is a program designed to encourage, support and nurture all mothers with children from conception through kindergarten. For more information, contact Julianna
