And other things the people of Northfield should know this week.

The Nothfield Area Chamber of Commerce's 15th annual Winter Walk is set for 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 in downtown.

According to the chamber's website, the annual event allows people to take in the sites of historic downtown Northfield by candlelight. Many businesses and organizations are participating in the event, many featuring specials and in-store events.

A few of the special events and sights include: Santa's helpers all over town throughout the evening, caroling by Northfield Middle School choirs, pictures with Santa at the First National Bank and much more.

See the full scheduled of events on the chamber's Winter Walk webpage.
