Hydrant Flushing, New Community Photo Gallery & Free Yoga: Week Ahead
Things you should know this week.
Yet another Monday has rolled around and Northfield Patch has what you need to know for the impending week:
Hydrant flushing begins Sunday
Hydrant flushing will begin Sunday, Oct. 6 and end Thursday, Oct. 10. Flushing will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day.
The city released the following information on the flushing:
Watermains are routinely flushed to remove minerals as they accumulate in the distribution system and check the operational integrity of the fire hydrants.
Residents are advised to limit water use during the flushing period and check for discoloration prior to using water for laundry purposes.
In case your laundry should get rust stained, keep them wet and you can pick up a special soap for stain removal at City Hall during the week.

Free Yoga in Way Park
Once again there is free yoga in Way Park this Saturday, Oct. 12:
When: 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
Where: Way Park, 720 1st St. W. in Northfield.
