More than 1,000 people showed up for Saturday's Northfield Area YMCA Healthy Kids Day.
It was all about the kids.
More than 1,000 people showed up for Saturday's Healthy Kids Day at , said Y executive director Virginia Kaczmarek.
On hand at the event were representatives from the , Northfield Fire Department, Northfield EMS, Rice County Sheriff's Office, a K-9 unit and dozens of groups and vendors from around the area promoting healthy living.

Many vendors had games and treats for visitors; kids also had the chance to check out a firetruck, ambulance, cop car and sheriff's boat.
