Support Nerstrand Elementary School on Give to the Max Day!

It's time for classroom technology to come to Nerstrand Elementary School! Please support our school on Give to the Max Day, November 15th.

It's time for classroom technology to come to Nerstrand Elementary School!  We are a small rural charter school with a limited budget and unlimited dreams!  While the teachers and staff members of our school deliver a top quality program to students without the enhancements that modern classroom technology provides, we think it's time for our teachers and students to move further into the age of technology!  With the seed planted by a generous anonymous donation to purchase 10 iPads 2s for our school this year, we are now dreaming of how learning can be promoted with the addition of document cameras and projectors to use along with our new iPads!  Our long-term dreams include SMART Boards for our classrooms, but in the meantime, we are focused on the acquisition of document cameras and projectors.  We hope you'll be able to help us realize our dreams!

Document cameras and projectors will enable us to display the screen of the iPad onto a large screen in the classroom where all students can view it with ease.  This equipment will also allow students to share their work with other students by placing it on the document camera display area.  Science demonstrations can also be visible to all students with the help of a document camera and projector.  And teachers will be able to display what appears on their computers on the large screen, as well.  The possibilities are limitless and are sure to infuse enthusiasm and excitement for learning in our classrooms.  Thank you for any donation  you might be able to make to support the teaching and learning at our special school - the little school by the Big Woods in Nerstrand, Minnesota!  Please give on November 15th!
