Northfield Young Professionals (YPro) Gives Back!

A group of Young Professionals in Northfield are making a difference! We are spending our time volunteering and giving back to the community during this Holiday Season.

Yesterday members from Northfield Young Professionals (YPro), of the Northfield Chamber of Commerce, volunteered with the CAC and sorted toys and gifts for families in need here in Northfield. Northfield Young Professionals is a group of professionals ages 21-39 in Northfield and the surrounding areas.

Traditionally we meet once a month at a local establishment for either breakfast or lunch. During the meeting one person gets an opportunity to educate the rest of us about either their business or something they are passionate about. Our most recent meeting was at the Ole Store and Tanner Running gave a presentation about the restaurant and other venues that he is involved with.

The goal of our group is to establish ourselves within the community through networking and volunteerism. Some of the things we are involved in now:

- we have individuals in the group that have volunteered with Toys for Tots, Three Links Care Center, Feed My Starving Children, Rotary and other Community Groups.

I'm excited to be a part of such an energetic group! Our plans for the future are big, both within the group and individually. I included some pictures from our time yesterday - Tate Running, Dana Kuyper, Matthew Rich and Tina Johnson made the time spent volunteering so much more fun! Thank you!
