St. Dominic School Christmas Concert Recap

Thanks to everyone who participated in and attended the St. Dominic School Christmas Concert.

We were so busy preparing for the New Year at St. Dominic School that we didn't have the opportunity to highlight one of our favorite things about December at St. Dominic School - the Christmas Concert.  But, as the old saying goes, "Better late than never!"

Led by our music director, Mrs. Lorilee Malecha, about 200 kids, ages preschool - 8th performed songs, instrument ensembles, solos and skits.  It was 45 minutes of heartwarming entertainment in front of 400 family and friends!

Some highlights of the evening included our 7th graders performing their rendition of The Andrew Sisters' 'Jing Jing-A-Ling,' complete with a 1930's dance they choreographed themselves.  Our 5th graders sang about "Gettin' Nothin' for Christmas," and our sweet little Preschoolers counted "10 Little Angels." Finally, grades K-8th, together, sang a Spanish holiday song.  It was nothing short of a holiday concert to remember!

The 2012 Christmas Concert was wonderful and Principal Mrs. Vicki Marvin summed up the event by saying, "Mrs. Malecha has outdone herself AGAIN!"
