After fumbling the ball away on the opening kickoff, the Raiders turned things around beating the Wingers 41-21.
Northfield rolled out to a 28-7 halftime lead and forced Red Wing to score on long, time-consuming drives in the second half. The Raiders ended a late scoring threat with an interception with three minutes left in the game.
Northfield's first victory of the year impoved the Raiders to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the Missota Conference. Red Wing fell to 1-5 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
Northfield will finish its regular season with two road games, the first coming Oct. 12 at Chaska, which rolled over Holy Angels, 51-14, on Friday.
