Brief And To The Point!

Do our legislators really represent the majority? Or, once in office, do we, their constituents, fall by the wayside.

The 2012 legislative session is wrapping up. Are there issues you've followed and were interested in? Are there issues you were passionate about? If so, then write, call, or e-mail your representatives and ask them how they voted on a particular bill. Really, all that's needed is a "support" or "oppose" answer. The time is past for a lot of political mumbo-jumbo. This is the time to evaluate your legislators. Are they worthy of your vote in November?

If they have your continued support and are running for re-election, tell them. If they do not support your views and beliefs, tell them that. They will not have your vote in November.

This holds true with new candidates as well. Ask them for their stand on particular issues prior to November. If they respond with a lot of mumbo-jumbo—RUN.
