This school year, Northfield Patch will introduce you to the new teachers in Northfield School District's classrooms.

Each year several new teachers come to Northfield schools. This school year, Northfield Patch will introduce you to the new teachers in  classrooms with brief profiles set to occasionally run in the coming days. Be sure to check back to be introduced to a new set of educators.

Why I chose education: I don't know that I chose education so much as it chose me. I entered the field of education through necessity as a single parent and found a vocation that has allowed me to bloom and thrive in ways I never thought possible. I love to teach.

Why I chose education: A good education is increasingly important in our world, and I like being there, in the trenches, helping to ensure that my students are well prepared for their future.
