VIDEO: Northfield Staff Get to Know Their iPads

Northfield teachers are getting schooled in iPads.

Northfield teachers spent this week at  learning about their new iPads, which they'll use in classroom instruction this year.

The iPads are part of the district's , which saw the Northfield School Board in June  to lease iPads for teachers this year with the idea of leasing iPads for all students in the 2013-14 school year.

The district will lease the iPads for three years at about $41,000 per year. There will be additional costs for purchasing software and for protective covers for the iPads.
