Three Northfield Students Competing in Regional Spelling Bee

Hannah Pahs, Jackson Hillmann and Anna Weber were winners at the district Spelling Bee on Jan. 24.

 

Three Northfield students have won the right to take part in the regional Spelling Bee, taking place in Rochester on Feb. 12.

The three Northfield students taking part in the spelling bee are Hannah Pahs, grade 7; second place winner Jackson Hillmann, grade 8; and third place winner Anna Weber, grade 6.

All three were winners in the 28th annual district Spelling Bee, held Jan. 24, with the top 17 spellers in the middle school competing for advancement to the regional event, according to a district news release.
