Spindrift: A Senior Dance Concert at St. Olaf College
Free and open to the public, Spindrift is sure to connect with a wide range of audience members with works exploring topics like women's empowerment, character studies, and learning environments.
Each year, St. Olaf College dance majors spend their fall semester developing individual works for a large-scale, self-produced concert. On Dec. 6, 7, and 8 at St. Olaf, dance majors will present Spindrift: A Senior Dance Concert.
Free and open to the public, Spindrift is sure to connect with a wide range of audience members with works exploring topics like women's empowerment, character studies and learning environments.
“Our title, Spindrift, describes a spray of water, representing our theme of cohesion. As seniors, we have traveled through the dance department together for four years, and while our interests and experiences in dance differ greatly, they also overlap," said Kathleen Pender, a senior dance major. "We liked the idea of cohesion to describe our collective journey. The beauty of our title and theme is that we can all connect to it differently.”
