School District's Final Calendar Conversation Event Planned for Tuesday
Community feedback from this meeting will be provided to the Northfield Board of Education May 13.
Editor's Note: The following is a press release from Northfield Public Schools.
The Northfield Board of Education and district administration would like to invite parents, students and community members to participate in the final meeting of the district’s Calendar Conversation project, from 7 to 9 p.m. on April 30 in the Northfield High School upper cafeteria.
Participants will have an opportunity to identify the benefits and concerns of seven calendar concepts, or “skeletal calendars.” These calendar concepts represent the diversity of calendar ideas explored in the previous community meetings. Participants will also have an opportunity to weigh in on whether any of the calendar concepts have enough merit to move forward for further development with specific detail and actual days.
