From May 2 through May 10, middle school students will be able to purchase books and gift items using special currency earned at school. Free gift-wrapping will be available during the May 2 kick-off event, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Bookstore currency is earned by students in four ways: by donating books; by working in the bookstore; by doing an exceptional job in the classroom, cafeteria, or on the school bus; or by completing a task from the teacher’s job jar, such as cleaning computers, washing windows, pulling weeds, scraping gum, or vacuuming floors.
