Wild Edibles in Late Spring
Join local food activist Mary Ellen Frame for a day of wild edibles. Bring a basket, pruning shears, rubber gloves and good walking shoes to participate in gathering wild edibles from the land on Mary Ellen’s local farm. Then cook it up and enjoy lunch and stimulating conversation together. You will learn what plants are available in the fields in late spring, how to identify them, and what to do with them to make a tasty meal. Mary Ellen is a long time local foodshed advocate. Call 507-650-0106 to register or stop in the Co-op.
