The Moon: Astronomy in the Day

Did you know that the moon is visible as much in the day as at night? Have you ever wanted to know what the dark and light eatures were or where the astronauts landed on the moon? Come learn about our closest celestial neighbor at this family-friendly program. Participants will create a moon chart and a phase chart to take home for future observations.  After inside activities we will use binoculars to view the moon in the day.  This program is made possible by a grant from the Union Pacific Foundation.
