Fires on the Prairie

We are familiar with the reputation of fire to destroy; but on the prairie, fires play an important role in renewing life. Come explore the relationships between humans, fire, and the prairie and learn about the unique adaptations plants and animals have developed to live and thrive with fire.  Open to all ages. Cost is $2 per person or $6 per family, River Bend members attend for free.
