Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Northfield Middle School will be hosting an evening full of books, music and Cinco de Mayo Fun! All current and incoming Middle School students (5th graders) and their families are invited to participate in a special night at the Middle School Media Center on Thursday, May 5th from 5 – 7:30 p.m.

In conjunction with the 4th Annual Mother’s Day Book Sale, Northfield Middle School TEAM UP and Tattered Pages will be offering a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Events will include Aztec and Folkloric Dancers, arts and crafts for children, piñatas and other door prizes to be raffled off, with beverages and appetizers served. Students will also be able to purchase books for Mother’s Day gifts with their Tattered Pages coupons. Parents will also have a chance to learn how to use the Skyward/Family Access system.

The Middle School Choir concert will follow these events at 7:30 in the auditorium. Visit the middle school website or call 663-0650 for more information. The celebration is supported in part by the Northfield Healthy Community Initiative.
