Building a Raised Bed Together

“Free Food… Help Yourself!” is a community initiative whose aim is to build raised communal garden beds all around the town of Northfield. These garden beds will be made by any and all community members and the food they produce is free for everyone to enjoy.

So come on down and help us build our first raised garden beds at the UCC Church during the Earth Day Celebration!  This project is led by UCC youth. We’ll be digging the dirt, constructing the beds, filling them up with wonderful soil and compost, and sowing seeds that in a couple short months will produces peas, radishes, spinach…for all to enjoy.
