Carleton, St. Olaf Colleges Among Top 25 Minnesota Nonprofits Based on Revenue

Carleton College came in 22nd and St. Olaf College came in 24th.

In its annual look at Minnesota's top 100 nonprofits based on revenue, the Star Tribune reports that comes in at 22nd and comes in at 24th for 2010.

The data was taken from 990 Forms. It shows that Carleton's revenue was $156.4 million, while St. Olaf's revenue was $149.1 million. Last year, according to the report, Carleton and St. Olaf were 29th and 23rd for revenue, respectively.

The report also ranks expenses for 2010. St. Olaf spent $148.8 million, while Carleton spent $141.3 million.

Robert Oden, former president of Carleton, is listed as making $593,100 in 2010, according to the report. St. Olaf President David Anderson made $318,000 in 2010.
