"Walk for the Animals" is May 19

Walk for the Animals, a fundraiser for Prairie's Edge Humane Society, is coming up.

will hold its annual "Walk for the Animals" fundraising event on Saturday, May 19th, from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM at the PEHS shelter, 1201 Cannon Circle, Faribault, MN 55021. Bring your pet and your entire family for the fun and help raise money for the homeless animals at the PEHS shelter!

All walk routes start at the PEHS shelter, you may walk as far as you wish or turn around whenever you like.  You may walk anytime during the designated walk hours or join the group walk with our special guest, Scooby Doo!  If you do not have your own pet to walk, we will rent you one!  For $5 per 1/2 hour you can rent a shelter dog to walk with you!

Visit our website www.prairiesedgehs.org to set up your own on line fundraising page or to download a pledge form to collect funds in person.  Once you have set up your fundraising page or downloaded a pledge form, ask your friends, family, co-workers and anyone else, to support you in the walk and donate funds to help the homeless animals at the PEHS shelter! Turn in your collected donations at the registration desk on the day of the walk, or print out of your on line donations.  Everyone who raises at least $50 will receive a free Walk for the Animals T-shirt.  All walkers will receive a dog or cat treat bag (while supplies last).
