Please Give to the Max for the Animals at Prairie's Edge Humane Society

Give to the Max is one day of giving, sponsored by GiveMN.org. Please help the homeless animals of our community by giving to Prairie's Edge Humane Society on November 15th.

Can we top last year's 24 hours of giving? We think so, but to do so we need your help! Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 15th from midnight to 11:59 PM, you can help the homeless animals of our community by Giving to the Max!

Thanks to the amazing supporters of Prairie's Edge Humane Society during last year's Give to the Max Day, we raised over $6000 for the homeless animals of our community in JUST ONE DAY of giving.  Let's do it again on November 15, 2012!

This year, thanks to Dokmo Ford-Chrysler and two other generous supporters, we have secured $1750 in matching funds. So for every $1 raised on line from you, the animals will actually be receiving $2.  With your help we can easily turn $1750 into $3500!

There will also be an opportunity to win more funds throughout the 24 hours as well, but we will need your help to do so.  GiveMn.org will randomly select one non-profit each hour to receive an additional $1000 added to their donations and at the end of the 24 hours there will be a Super-sized Golden ticket drawn for an additional $10,000.  Entries are based on the number of donors during that particular hour, so every donor to Prairie's Edge Humane Society is an entry into the Golden Ticket drawing.  Consider donating during "off" hours, such as very early in the morning or very late in the evening to increase our chances of being drawn for a Golden Ticket.

We will also be competing in the "Medium Sized" non-profit category for an opportunity to win anywhere from $2500-$12,500.  To do so we must be one of the top three fundraisers during the 24 hours of giving. So the more funds raised the greater our chances!

Prairie's Edge Humane Society has also entered our "Spay-Ghetti" Dinner in the "Most Creative Give to the Max Day Fundraising Event" for an opportunity to win $500.  We will be holding our "Spay-Ghetti" Dinner on Thursday, November 15, from 5-7 pm at the Northfield Eagles Club.  We will have laptops available at the "Spay-Ghetti" Dinner for your use to make a secure on line donation through GiveMN.org.  Advance tickets for the dinner are $6 and may be purchased at Cannon Valley Veterinary Clinic, Countryside Animal Hospital, Canine Design and Premier Bank in Northfield or at the door for $7.  Come out for an inexpensive dinner and help PEHS win even more funds for the homeless animals!

Prairie's Edge Humane Society will also be included in the "Northfield Gives" contest for an opportunity to win $1000.  Each donor qualifies PEHS to win one of five local Northfield Golden Ticket grants worth up to $1000 each.

So as you can see there are many opportunities for Prairie's Edge Humane Society to win additional funds on Give to the Max Day, but we need YOUR HELP to do so! Anyone, anywhere can make a secure donation on November 15th via our donation page on www.givemn.org, search Prairie's Edge Humane Society.  You will also find the link to our donation page on our website www.prairiesedgehs.org or on our facebook page.  You will not find those links prior to Thursday, November 15th, however, as your donation won't count towards Give to the Max Day unless it is made on that day!

So please remember the animals at Prairie's Edge Humane Society during the 24 hours of Give to the Max Day: The Great Minnesota Give Together and Northfield Gives on November 15th!
