Building Trust

There's one common denominator of all successful organizations, businesses, and leaders.

Trust is the one common denominator of all successful organizations, businesses, and leaders!  It's essential. 

Without it everything costs more and takes more time.  However, with trust there's high energy, creativity, morale, and buy in.  In Stephen M. R. Covey's book the Speed of Trust he points out that:

  • Low Trust = Low Productivity = High Cost
  • High Trust = High Productivity = Low Cost

There's no short cut to building trust. In David Horsager's book The Trust Edge he talks about the 8 Pillars of Trust.  They are:
