Woodard, DeKruif to Host 'Office' Hours in Northfield

Northfield's state representatives will be in Northfield from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Quality Bakery.

Rep. Kelby Woodard (R-District 25B) and Sen. Al DeKruif (R-District 25) will host open office hours throughout the district on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The local legislators invite residents to meet with them one-on-one or in small groups to discuss issues that are important to them.

“Many of our conversations have focused on areas such as education reforms and the state budget,” Woodard said. “These office hours are an opportunity to have in-depth discussions regarding a wide range of topics. I look forward to hearing what constituents have to say and am eager to share my perspective on Minnesota's future.”

Appointments can be made by calling (651) 296-5526. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be worked into the schedule as time allows. Meetings will be scheduled in 10- to 15-minute blocks at the following times and locations:

● 8-10 a.m., (410 Division St. S.)
● 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Lonsdale Library (1006 Birch St. NE)
● 2-4 p.m., Belle Plaine Library (125 W. Main St.)
