Talking Trash: What You Need to Know About Switching to Dick's Sanitation

As Northfield and its residents transition from Waste Management to Dick's Sanitation, Inc. for trash and recycling hauling, there needs to be a swap in carts.

Here's what you need to know:

• Waste Management will pick up their carts on your last day of service in December, according to the city.
• Dick's Sanitation says delivery of new trash cars will begin the week of Dec. 17 and continued through Dec. 28.
• It's important to continue to use the Waste Management carts until they are taken for good. 
• The Dick's Sanitation carts won't be used until the first day of service in 2013.
