Shakopee Bank Robbed; Suspect's Description Similar to Northfield Bank Robber from April

The FBI says that at about 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, Paragon Bank, located at 115 First Avenue East, in Shakopee, was robbed by a lone, white male.

Another south metro bank was robbed on Tuesday in similar fashion to April's robbery of the .

The FBI says that at about 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, Paragon Bank, located at 115 First Avenue East, in Shakopee, was robbed by a lone, white male.

The robber entered the bank and approached the teller counter. Once at the teller counter, the robber pointed a gun at the victim teller and demanded cash. After receiving the cash, the robber fled from the bank on foot, according to the FBI.

Shakopee Police Chief Jeff Tate that the robber got away with more than $1,000.

The robber was described as a white male; 19-29 years old; approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, with a thin build. The robber was wearing dark clothing, with a black neck warmer pulled up over his face. He also wore a black stocking cap on his head.

That description is similar to the man the FBI is looking for in connection to the Northfield robbery, as well as robberies in Savage, . It's also a similar description to suspects for bank robberies in and .

The alleged Northfield robber is described as white male who is about 25 years old, according to FBI Special Agent Steve Warfield. The man is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 190 and 210 pounds. He wore a black-hooded jacket, a dark mask that covered his face from below his nose, blue jeans, dark gloves and black and white sneakers, the agent said.
