Sen. Thompson Berates Democrats at GOP Convention
Sen. Dave Thompson (R-District 58) spoke at a convention for fourth district Republicans.
Northfield State Sen. Dave Thompson (R-District 58) upbraided Democrats, specifically for their work on health care legislation, during a GOP convention for fourth district Republicans held Saturday in Vadnais Heights.
"We are working tirelessly at the capitol to do our best to take on a DFL legislature and governor that right now are absolutely out of control," Thompson said in his speech. "Your legislators are doing the very best that we can to stop and slow down the bad things that are happening up there and at least point out to the public what's going on"
