Grant money will be used to support the costs of three different programs, according to Fairbault Daily News.

Rice County Public Health received a handful of grants last week to help fund three important programs that provide services to the county's children.

According to Fairbault Daily News, a $145,000 grant will be allocated in 2013 to cover administrative services for a child and teen check-up program with the Minnesota Department of Health. In addition, other grants received will cover costs for prenatal hepatitis B immunizations for one year and to detect hearing loss and birth defects among children for three years.
