Legislative Clerk David Surdez places the names of the 2013-2014 House members on the voting board in the House Chamber. The 134 name plates have to be adjusted by hand at least every two years.
The legislative session is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Jan. 8.
After redistricting, and the 2012 general election, the Northfield area will be represented by David Bly (DFL-District 20B) and Pat Garofalo (R-District 58B) in the Minnesota House of Representatives and Kevin Dahle (DFL-District 20) and Dave Thompson (R-District 58) in the Senate.
