Northfield Road Construction Update
Here's a look at how Northfield's road construction projects are coming along.

Division Street and Eighth Street
Sodding crews were on-site the majority of the week to prep the entire Division Street/Eighth Street area for sod. Sodding crews are scheduled to be on-site next week to sod the entire Division Street and Eighth Street portion of the project.
Linden Street, Lockwood Drive, Meldahl Lane, Zanmiller Drive, North Avenue, Dresden Avenue, & Fremouw Avenue
Sodding crews continued to water the sod on this portion of the project. Staff walked the sodded areas with Heselton Construction and Heikes Farms, who is the sod subcontractor to evaluate the condition of the sod. It was agreed upon that there are numerous areas that the sod needs to be replaced. Crews are going to be in late next week to start of the removal and replacement of the damaged sod.
Roosevelt Drive
Staff also walked the sodded areas on Roosevelt Drive with Heselton Construction and Heikes Farms. It was agreed upon that there are numerous areas that the sod needs to be replaced. Crews are going to be in late next week to start of the removal and replacement of the damaged sod.
