With less than two weeks until Election Day, DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar on Wednesday visited DFL headquarters in Northfield to rally support for local candidates.
She was joined by DFL candidates Kevin Dahle (Senate District 20), David Bly (House District 20B) and Mike Obermueller (Second Congressional District) and dozens of supporters.
Klobuchar talked about legislative items facing the House and Senate and spoke to the importance winning back some DFL seats after 2010 and how bills she sponsors are part of a bigger picture.
"Every point lost in tourism means 160,000 jobs lost," she said. "In Minnesota, tourism is the fifth largest industry in the state. I will continue to work to cut red tape that has been limiting international tourism so that our businesses can grow and thrive."
