Other facts

I am running for city council because I feel that I can bring a new and fresh perspective to the council. I believe I offer an option that has proven leadership experience throughout my professional career as well as through some of my volunteer activities. I do not believe that representative democracy means only listening when election time rolls around, but during one’s entire term of service. I intend to bring my listening skills and my ability to work in a team environment to work for you. Personal: I have been married for almost 18 years to my wife, Betsy. We have two sons ages 16 and 13. We moved to Northfield in 2003 in large part because of the city's small town atmosphere. We felt it was the perfect place to put down roots and raise our family.
